This project develops a passive upper extremity orthosis to promote reach-to-grasp tasks in stroke survivors

R2. Short and Long-Term Adaptation of Over-Ground Ambulation in Subjects with Chronic Stroke following Robotic-Assistance, Body Weight Supported Gait Training

This project assesses the rate and extent of recovery of over-ground ambulation in individuals with chronic stroke using specific gait re-training paradigms

R 3. Computerized Training of Conversational Scripts to Facilitate Integration into the Community and Work Force

This project develops, implements, and evaluates a treatment program for individuals with aphasia that uses computerized oral reading of individualized scripts to practice routine communication activities such as ordering in a restaurant and requesting information on the phone.
